ive heard good things about filstar xp canisters too. You can compliment it with
a hang on back filter or a powerhead.

Try using Magnum 350 cannister or use the H.O.T Magnum hang on back, they done a really good job for my 60 gal.
And you only mentiond that you have only one fish so those filters will do the job with no problems!
