So i was at petsmart today and this guy was labeled as a tiger....he was completely black and white, kind of reminded me of snow camo..and he had tiny speckles on his forehead...the people at petsmart were puzzled too and said they never saw anything like him..i came SO close to buying him..i know the pic is TERRIBLE but its the best i could do

Tiger Oscar. Thats what they look like when thry are little. That's no surprise they didn't know.

Regular tiger.

Far right is most likely how it will turn out.

im telling you...there were others in there..same size with normal colorings.like i said the employees were a little confused on what it was.would it be just a different morph?

No. Normal tiger. Pet smart does not educate their employees. Do not take advice from them. I once wanted to buy a midas that was in with JD's and the worker tried telling me it was a JD too cause it was in the tank with that label.

well sorry guys...i got excited cuz i thought i found an oddball...thanks anyway and dont think im too big of a moron lol

No, wouldn't think that. Good questions. Better to ask than be sorry later.

I had the same experience with a Jag in mixed in with GTs. After a hour of debating i got the Jag at the Jag price and not the $4 more GT price :headbang2

Oscars can display great colours as Juvies but they never end up looking that way as adults. The ones in my avatar are "wild type" and are mainly black with a bit of red.
