Thinking about trading my tank:

"Oak tank, oak stand, and oak lights are all in great shape. Filtration consists of one Fluval FX5, Rena Xp3, two Marineland 330 bio-wheels, HOB over flow w/ diy sump and 900GPH pump. Heating is from two 300watt heaters. I will also include two Marineland power heads (the biggest they sell at Petsmart) in case you need even more water movement.

Tank will also come with 100-150#s of natural river sand and three large self sinking pieces of drift wood ($$$) "

For a 4mo old like new worn but in original box Movado Luna model 0605556.

Amazon.com has it for 4995 but Ive seen it as low as $400 online but I know nothing of watches and buying online.

Thanks in advance!

Luno you mean?

Since the lower grade movado's aren't tungsten I'd want to see it to see if/how much it's scratched. Honestly new a Luno is $400.00 ish, so with use it's worth even less. That said Movado's are nice watches for the money. I bought one for someone as a present.

Honestly for me if we are indeed talking about the Movado Luno that trades a no-go(watch might be worth $300-ish at best and I would think your tank is worth a little more) but just me.

we how much the watch cost on eBay a used luno I would pay 3-500
But I think there is more value on the tank and better resale not evryone want to buy a 400 watch

Ok thanks for the input fellas, I may make a coounter offer and ask for cash on top....maybe $150-200.

I called and go his voicemail (we've been corresponding via email) and not to be sterotypical but he sounded like he was a bit wanna be thug-life, dont like to deal with those kinds of people...

I think $500 is fair for the tank and filters and what not...no?

Yeah I think with a little cash on top/pending the watch is still in good condition it would be a fair deal. I would also want it with the packaging if possible/if it's indeed 2 months old. And yeah your tank has alot with the diy sump/fx5/etc so IMO it's worth a bit more than the typical 125g setup. I think $500 ish is a good price.

be better off stashing some money and buying the watch brand new..... if you were looking into a ceramic movado or tungsten or a rado id say you might be on to something... but then again you are trading for a battery powered watch... why not look into a seiko automatic...

here is a picture of mines, not sure what style, but its stainless steel.
my brother got it for me for my brother. he baught it for 4-500 at the outlet store, when they were having a sell
