Where the Parachromis roam...
I have 4 boys, ages 18-17-13 and 9 years old.I can remember them all being babies like it was yesterday.I can remember us saying "i love you" to each other out in the open no matter where we were.My how times change, now my 3 oldest boys think that i am old dude and saying i love you is embarrasing(i know that they love me and my wife)but they are to cool and to tough for that.I have teenage girls calling my house all the time!!Driving me nuts!!!And now my baby(my 9 yr old)is a really good athlete(football, baseball)and if we show any kind of emotion at any of his games he gets mad at us and says we are embarresing him:cry:did i put my parents thru any of this???Whats left old age home??

they'll come visit you, in the retirement home :D

There is alotttt of stuff i wish i didn't do as a kid, now being an adult and seeing it. There is nothing like being around kids all day and knowing soon enough they'll be on there own definitely sucks.

oh wow you bred

Totally feel your pain.

My daughter is going to be 13 in two weeks. As parents, we go from being their role models, the most intelligent people they know to absolute idiots in their eyes.

I've been told that we turn into really intelligent people when they go away to college and realize how lucky they had it, but I don't have personal experience with this yet.

Yeah, I feel you. Mine is 17 and thinks that I'm here as an atm and dishwasher. When I say I love you, I'm met with something like a held back sneeze? I really miss the days when I was magical and everyday was something new but, theres no way I'm gonna be in my 60's raising teens. Best/worst part is, she just got accepted into UC Santa Barbara. Is there a market to sell the gold out of my dental fillings?

Man, and HOW I understand where you're coming from!!!

My problem is, however, even worse, if possible, because with me, in the same enclosure, I got 7!!!:D
