How many gallons of water should i change weekly in my 125?

I do about 75% on my 220 once a week

What is your fish stocking like and the mix? Feeding habits?

I'd suggest at least 30%.

I try to do more than 50% due to overstocking

It's better to know a few things before throwing a water % out there.

-How many fishes and what sizes
-Type of filtration
-amount you feed every week
------------------------------------------
-small fish
-loads of filtration
-small amounts of food.

equals small %

-Large fish
-so so filtration
-lots of food

I do about 65% on my 125 that's full of RBPs but they are very messy.

As much as you need to to keep nitrates below 20 ppm after a change...

i'd go with 50% water change, every 3 or 4 days.
well if your overstocked.
if it's just a single fish i'd go 50% once every 8 or 9 days.
