I'm Where I'm At
Here's my scenario and I wanna know if it happens to all you guys or all canisters or is it Jebos,...........

I'll do a water change and whatever and have the valves shut off at the lid of the canister and once I got the tank filled up again and fire up the filter, for the first 3-4 seconds the filter shoots out  like a cloud of dirt and white debris that looks like shredded plastic grocery bag.

It pisses me off :irked: because if makes the tank all dirty looking again. Now what I do is for the first 3-4 seconds I'll shoot it into a bucket then after the 3-4 seconds the water coming out is clear again.

Does this happen to you all or just me?? Or is it the Jebo?? What am I doing wrong?? :(

Its just crud that builds up in the pipes of the filter and really nothing to worry about. TBH for normal water changes there no reason to turn the filters off unless there is a risk of the intake being out of the water during the WC.

The wc I do, the intake does come out of the water

Remove the pipes, get a length of thin cable and a small piece of rag, push the cable through the pipes, tie the rag to the cable and pull it through. Or just do 2 smaller water changes. I dont turn my filter off either.
