Any of you uses any online calculator to predict the amount and frequency of water change to do in your tank to manage your nitrate level better?

I use MOA's water change calculator. Looks like a pretty niffy and easy to use. All you have to do is download the Excel spreadsheet and just fill in all the information and the graph under Nitrate would show you how the nitrate levels would look like. This is great for people with many tanks as it could save time and $ on water bills.

I would say, I love this calculator. Before that, I can only predict roughly how much water to change base on my weekly nitrate test result. And my nitrate results would vary between 5, 10, 20ppm every week. After using the calculator, my nitrate readings have been constantly appearing at 10ppm

Any of you use other similar calculator? Share them here!

Interesting.
I`m pretty guilty of looking for a "nerdy/hi-tech" solution to simple things.
Hunched over a keyboard for an inordinate amount of time trying to do a thing that would only take a few minutes with paper and pencil.
Seems like the challenge takes on a life of it`s own.
More so when the wife asks what I`m up to, I explain, and she rolls her eyes with that OMG look.
Sorry, but that is what this calculator feels like to me.
Maybe it is just because my tank has been up for so long that my WC schedule has become routine.
Heck, I don`t even test my water much anymore.
After such a long string of consistent test results, the kit has a layer of dust on it now.
Not really knocking the concept.
Pretty sure there are quite a few that will use this and thank you for bringing it to their attention.
