made a video about my weekly water change routine of my geophagus tapajos red head aquarium.

i just love the brownish look of catappa leaves and alder cones! i think it just looks so much more "natural"

Your aquarium Redhead Tapajos and Lemon Tetras looks great. Yes tannins are great for most Geophagus and SA fish species. The Cattapa leaves and Alder Cones are does look natural. I personally use Oak leaves for tannins. Thanks for sharing.

thank you! do you collect the oak leaves or do you buy them? we have here tons of oak trees but i don't know if i can use them...

I collect them from my Metro Park which is near my home.
