Doing water changes
Im just curious who else has water change sundays? Where you do all your water changes on all your tanks in one day? Also what tanks do you have and how long does it take?

For me i just have my 240 55 40 20 going right now and that takes me about 2 hours to do all of them depending if i have to clean filters that sunday.

I usually do half on one weeknight and the other on another night. Depends on when/if the kids have homework etc.

I would do some tonight but we are having friends over for dinner, and I won't be in any shape to do it afterwards...

Burt:)

i do mine once a week (12 fish in 125 gal) they are not crowded and i only do like 25-35% but i do this when ever i get to feeling like it but it allways gets done

Do the fishroom either Saturday night or Sunday. The one in the living room I do Wendsday. It took me about 2 hours last night to clean the 180, 75, 55, 2-29's, 20, and the kid's stinky 10 gallon fiddler tank (that one I do every other day, it really reaks!)

I doesn't usally take two hours, but my four year old was helping. When he isn't helping it only takes 1 1/2 hours, not including the once a month filter maintence. Filling the tanks back up takes the longest, I have one Python draining a tank and another tube filling a different tank at the same time to help save time.

I have water change Sundays, from March till November. A 29, 75, 120. It takes as long as I can make it take, or until the wife stops asking if I'm done.

I do my water changes every Sunday and I change 50-70% water in all four tanks: 20, 29, 75, 125.

Sunday is usually my day for water change. I have to sneak it in when no one is looking, otherwise I'll end up doing something else.

I have mine spaced out to where I only do 1 or 2 things a day. That way I am always messing with fish but never have to take a long time on it. The wife does nag though...

I change all my tanks on saturday (since my work week is sunday-thursday). I do a 50% change on all my tanks and it takes about 4-5 hours. My apartment has sucky water pressure so I siphon all my tanks with a regular vacuum into a 5 gallon bucket that has a pump inside and I just pump the water down the drain. The most time consuming thing is to fill the tanks because...like I said we have crappy water pressure.
