Okay whats the usually procedure or way to do a water change when breeding is in process. I knew I shouldve changed it last night but I was drunk, lol. Its only been since Friday. Im afraid too that if I did it after the breeding that the parents would eat the eggs as well.

I would just wait a few hrs. let them finish. Give them a little time to start guarding and faning the eggs then do one.

Go abouts the regular water change per week...........I do................

Okay yeah just did WC, but was careful not to tread too hard on territory, also kept my hands outta the water, lol

how do u do it so the babies dont get sucked up because i always have babbies swimming to the tube

The way I do it with my Pink Convicts is bend down to see where you are suctioning. And only siphon 4-5" away from them, it won't be a complete disaster if you leave a few spots. Oh and I have the short tube so I keep my hands outta the water hehe.
