Water change

When would you do a first water change in a new tank ?

I've waited 3 months before I did a water change in my new tanks.

it depends on how you cycled it or is it cycled and the size also what type of fish you stocking it with.
normaly on a new set up thats cycled the first few weeks i feed lightly and change only 10%and after there is a good reading on nitrates increase the feeding and bump it up to 30%weekly this may need more or less depending on your setup .

keep testing your water until its fully cycled and then do a water change when your nitrates get high.
