I am moving in a couple months and setting up a legit fish room at the new place. I am in my info gathering stages now. It is for the most part going to be an air run operation with very few tanks on a system. When all said and done I am aiming for 1500 to maybe 2000 gallons (acquired over time ). How would you or how do you set up water changes for a room like this or how do you have it automated? I was thinking drilled tanks for quick draining and large reservoir with a pump to fill vs. reservoir pump drip system. Any suggestions thoughts welcomed.

You can set up a multi tank pvc syphon that's essentially U-shapes joining to a bigger tube that either goes to sump/drain. To fill them back up I suppose you could use the same system but hooked up to your resevoir tank if you felt the need for one.
Drilling tanks always just sounds scary to me, but never done it myself
