water changes question

I hear ppl say they change water every day or week every other week do they use a ph buffer cuz if i did that my ph would be so high. I know the water outa the fosset is like 8 do they use the buffer or do they get water some wear i just dnt get it enless they feed there fish a ton or over stock alot?

The only way you will raise your PH with water changes is if the water your adding has a higher PH then the water in your tank.

depends on the PH you want for certain kinds of fish. same goes for how often you change your water

I do not use a ph buffer. I put in fresh water which does raise my pH but it does drop over a couple of days.
