hello!
I have a question,
(I'm a bit of a new-comer :))
if I just performed a 20 percent water change in my tank that has just recently finished its cycle, should this cause the fish stress?

If my fish seem stressed, should I try giving them food to help alleviate it?

Thanks!

No, as long as you pretreated the change water and matched temp. it shouldn't cause the fish stress.

Don't feed if the fish look stressed (they don't understand comfort food ;)) , just let them be alone for a while to reacclimatize.

.

Different fish do take to W/C's differently...some of mine love to play in the incoming water and others hide from it and then there are some that don't even seem to notice.
