Hi everyone. My fishroom is about 30ft away from my sink station so ive been having to lug 5gal buckets of water back and forth to and from the sink for about a year now. its not the work thats the problem its the time. it takes me all day to take out half the water and refil it on one tank and since i have new classes with a ton more homework i dont have the time for it so does anyone have any ideas on how to at least get water to the tanks in a more efficient manner?

If i were you I would buy the Python setup..if your about 30 feet away, you can get a 25 or 50 foot section..clean your tank, and do water changes at the same time, NO MORE BUCKETS.. Its one handy piece of equipment to have when your have tanks.

im still pissed my python does not fit on any faucet in my home :irked:

Hardware stores and most pet stores I have seen that sell the python also sell the sink adapter for a few dollars.

mine didnt fit either at first cause my wife had to have a 200 dollar faucet, i had to get an adapter at lowes and make my own, works like a champ though...

Python buddy, You will wonder how you ever lived with out it,

I used to swear by my python, now a 1.5inch sump drain hose from homedepot (less than 10 bucks) and a garden hose hooked to my shower are what make my maintenance easy. I drain into the lawn (and catch 3 5g buckets for the flowers and potted plants around the house) and refill from the shower. The fact that the showerhead is about a foot above the water level makes it fill pretty quick.
