is it always necessary to add med's and stuff after a water change?
all i add his chlorine killer and i was just seeing if i have it do it or not
also do i need to add anything when i add more water to my tank (my water evaporates fast) so i add some

if you have chlorine in your water you need it every time you add water

Yea you have to add it, Cholroine will kill all your benificial bacteria.

Got to watch tho, I am sure most companies making the de-clor are already on top of this but some citys around ontario and im sure all over are adding in cloramines as well. The differnce is that clorine disappates in 24 hours or something along that line, but the cloramines are ment to remain in the water always. So check your stuff and make sure you are covered. And don't think that aged water is always going to be safe ether. It is the result of Walkerton, where they had a huge Ecoli break out a few years back. Personally I don't know how the crap they put in our water could be even good for us??
