Dear Friends.......

How much Water to be changed every week for this aquarium ??????

Presently 2 small Buckets (i donno how many litres),,,,approx. takes away 20% of the water ..........

You've got quite a lot of biomass of fish in that tank. I'd be wanting to change about 40-50% of the water weekly.

Dear Hamfist,

Is it like,,, u have to change more water, if u have more fish in the tank......?????
or is it enough if u clean the filter more regularly?????
also note that, there are 2 air filters running......

I do a 30% change daily in my grow out tank. Just to minimize the effects of stunting hormones in the water

TEST NITRATES. When they get over 10-15ppm, do a 50% water change. Whether it be once a week, twice a week, or every other week. The nitrates should dictate the water changes IMO.
 
The amount of filters you have has no effect on the frequency of water changes or the amount of water that needs to be changed.
 
I take everything out and vacuum the bottom and change 40 to 50% every week. Clean the glass, ect.
