Ok guys this might be a weird question, but some days I get bored and I want to do more frequent water changes like 25% every 2-3 days is this ok?

I do 75% or better every third day so indeed you will be fine.

If you're wc schedule is less than this now, then you're already not doing enough. Up it to at least 50%. Your fish will thank you.

No I don't, but I would do my wc routine of +70% every 3-4days even if it was a single betta in a 55gal. Heck, if I had the time, I would do wc every day.
I am religious about wc, and after decades of fish keeping, I would confidently claim that wc is the key to successful fish keeping period
