I have noticed that in all my tanks, that one in particular never gets any algea growth and I mean NONE. Now I was wondering if this is because it has the best water circulation due to so much filtration. Does more circulation in tanks help prevent algea growth? I dont do anything different to this tank over my others but it always seems to stay spotless. Also I am sure some of the helping factor is that I have very low wattage lighting over this tank. Anyway, what do you people think?

I notice in my 240 that I get green algae on the glass and then I get brown algae on my overflow box, not that it is a problem, just have to scrub it down about once a month.

my 46gal has algae all over it after i removed the powerhead. my 120 has none and i use 2 xp3 filters with a waterjet and a xp3 with a spraybar so i guess water movement does slow down algae, but in rivers there are also algae so i guess it just takes a long time or something
