Fall river MA
fish.jpg Ive had my 75g up and running for awhile now and the water has yet to be clear. Ive done major water changes, used water clearing stuff all to no avail. Anybody have any ideas?

I just added a SunSun 304B with UV steralizer to my 29 gallon tank and I've never seen my water so clear. If you are interested in adding a UV steralizer, it would probably help.

What are your water parameters? PH? Ammonia? Nitrite? Nitrate?

Also, what type of filtration do you have?

Could be a bacterial bloom.

What are ur parameters?

If ur parameters are good then continue with wc's and gravel cleaning and cut down feedings.

Would change ur filters mechanical filter to a poret sponge and that will clear up any small debris.

Bacterial Bloom or you mechanical filtration isn't good enough, what's your tank turn over

If you can pump water. A 1" x 8" pvc pipe packed with poly fiber. Flowing at 200 GPH. Will do wonders.
The picture is my mega, 8" poly floss pad canister.

What type of filter are you using ? Tank size ?

+1 on the poret foam and probiotics

75G tank
Filters: Penn Plax Cascade 300 Power Filter, and an old pluval power filter that I think iis made for less than my tank since it doesn't hang right.
