I don't know whos with me , but doing all these water changes in my 240 and 46 gallon are really starting to hurt the wallet at the price of water conditioner.

So, I have been using jungle brand conditioner, I dont have any complaints out there at all about it, but I want to know if there is a better cheaper brand that the MFK's, out there use and buy in bulk. A bottle of the jungle brand stuff I use runs about 7 bucks a bottle and its just enough to change out the water twice in the 240. I do however do large water changes at one time, about 75-80 percent. even thought the tank isn't completely drained when I do the changes I always pour enough to treat the full 240 gallons because If you double up the dosage the instructions on the bottle say it helps with slime coat protection.

Please let me know what yall use, The price and if it is available in large amount, such as gallon jugs.

I used to buy the "pond" stress coat. It's higher concentrated for larger bodies of water. Cheaper then buying regular stress coat. Find it in the pond section of your pet store. It does like 2,000 gallons for one bottle the same size as the large regular bottle of stress coat. Costs like 12 bucks if I remember correctly.
Also, you can buy gallon jugs of prime.

Prime Powdered form is your best friend

Safe is the name of Seachem's dry product that is basically Prime in powder form.

I buy Pond Prime by the 2 liter, it treats 40,000 gallons. Depending on who you talk to, it's more concentrated than regular Prime, whose 2 liter bottle treats 20,000 gallons.

I actually had no idea they sold it in powder form. Learn something new every day, I guess.

can somebody give me some links as to where i can find these products, and prices?

They are sold in 10 g, 50 g, 250 g, 1 kg, 4 kg

Most of us would be happy with 10g or 50g and these could last a VERY VERY long time.

I think Seachem sell Safe in 4kg specially for arapaimag
That dude change like 4000g of water per day :WTF:
