Is it possible that water evaporation can cause higher chlorine content? my water is slowly evaporating (it's condensing on the glass cover) and my snal's drop in health: Related? BTW I did a water change and he seems a little better. Last time I added new water I dechlirinated with half caful of aqua plus cuz the bottle said use 1 capful for 10 gallons but also for 5 gallons 1 capful but i didn't see. so over the weekend i put a ful capful in. So can evaporation be the culprit?
Chlorine is a gas so it is bound to dissipate after a long time and even instantaneously if you're adding dechlorinator. How often do you replace the water? Does your dechlorinator also bind chloramine aside from chlorine?
