I am mainly posting this to give others ideas on what can be done with fiber reinforced concrete. I build these much bigger but this is just a miniature version.

Measures 6' long, 5' wide, 2.5' high
Pump: FloTec 1200 GPH Sump Pump located in filtered pump house disguised as a ....rock

Used Integral Color with soupy colored cement brushed on in areas to add different color tones.

Not 100% finished. Building this in my spare time. This one I am building thing, only about 1/4" to 1/2" FRC where I normally use 3/4-1" FRC. So there are some minor leaks I need to take care of due to this.

I have built these to house fish as well.

Pictures are on Picasa so just click on the links and you will see them.

That's really neat! Just curious, are you able to build a glass viewing panel into the bigger ones? That would make an awesome mixed planted tank / fountain / amphibian habitat.

cool. so do you sculpt these? how is it waterproofed?
I do sculpt these from solid monolithic concrete. I also, like this one pictured here, make them out of FRC (Fiber Reinforced Concrete) which allows you to build them MUCH MUCH MUCH lighter and be hollow inside while still having a high tensile strength. At 3/4" you can stand on it :)

Acrylic Polymers mixed with the concrete allow the crete to not be as porous reducing water absorption. Some water is absorbed in the surface of the crete which gives a natural looking "wet" look in areas that are....well....wet.

You are able to put a glass or acrylic panel anywhere you want, infact, I have been wanting to do this and I probably will soon.

I will be finished with it soon so I will add video too.
