Hello fellow MFKs,

I was wondering what you guys have to say about water flow with flowerhorns. I'm curious whether or not a good strong water flow would be beneficial for my new SRD. Let me know what you guys think and/or know.
Thanks!

I have a few pretty strong flow areas in my tank for my kamfa and he seems to like it alright. I also have a few areas where the flow is reduced to allow the fish to rest. As long as you're fish doesn't struggle in the current then it should be okay.

I might add low flow and test the waters (literally :p) with how he responds. Thanks!

Clean water is much more important than flow for flowerhorns and most cichlids really. As long as you keep your water pristine a high flow or turnover is not needed
