Water flow too strong?

So as my rays await their new indoor pond that arrives (hopefully:D) next week, I decided to add more filtration to the grow out tank that they are in now. After my incident with my one ray puking up all his food and fouling up my water I am taking no more chances on "adequate" filtration.

I want to go all out on my filtration. Especially on my new pond that is in the making. On that I am going to run a sump alongside of two fluval 404's.

For now I attached a second hang on whisper 60 filter along side one other and a fluval.

I am a little concerned that the water flow may be too stong for them. I know that they come from rivers, lakes and all sorts of bodies of water in South America all ranging in different water speeds and current.
What is too much? It's not like my rays are being blown around in there but I don't want to stress them out with too much water flow.

Any words of advice?

Thanks so much,
-Tom:D
