Water from fish tank

I use my used tank water to water the plants at home and I have noticed that the plants that use this water grow faster bigger n healthier then the ones I use from the water butt. So this got me wondering if anyone else has found this.

I always water my houseplants, garden and lawn with fish tank water. Lots of nitrates and phosphates which the plants love.

a ton of nutrients in dirty fish water!

I have friends that have set up drains to supply their sprinkler system.

Ive been watering my moms once dying houseplants with my tank water for months. About a week later our house looked like a jungle. She thinks she got a guardian plant angel. I'd hate to have to tell her that her angels are my clown plecos, who are poop machines.

Yep dirty fish water makes a good fertilizer

I water the plants around my pond with pond water and they grow like anything! Carp really are poop machines haha CL's of the pond.
