I know water stagnates rather quickly, so I just wanted to check...
My filter suddenly died last week, naturally it had a good, long life, so I guess it's happier in that big fishtank up in the sky, where the bigger bioloads no longer roam xD
Regardless, I had to move my four inch Dojo, quarter sized angel, two penny sized angels, and my Banjo cat to my two inch SAP's ten gallon temp. home. It's been five days, and I finally got a new filter for the breeder tank, but I fear the water has gone stagnate, and I doubt that it is good for the fish. I don't think the fish can stand being in the ten gallon much longer, especially not a month while my big tank cycles, so what should I do? Could I get away with a 75% change, or anything like that? If worse comes to worse, I could always dump the 10g's water into the breeder tank, and add more I guess.... and questions, ideas, input? I need to know before my angels fins completely disappear. [Yes, my puffer is a relentless little beastie.]
