Water Hardness?

I have the aquarium pharmaceuticals master kit but it is several years old and i lost all the documentation with scales and directions. I would like to test the hardness of my water. I hgave bottle 1 sodium hydroxide, bottle 2 calmagite solution, and bottle 3 edta color indicator.


Can anyone assist me in the process of testing my water? It would be greatly appreciately.

i wouldn't use a tester that is that old, i would just go get a new one

i'm not really that concerned with the hardness of the water i was more curious then i was worried.. so a quick rundown would be a big help if anyone has the directions... i could find the scale on google
