water hydra?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they can sting and kill small fish. Not sure effect on large fish but sure some probably will try to eat them. Hydras also can regenerate pretty easy from pieces of their own body.

if i member correctly, water hydra's aren't a thing to worry about. they don't kill fish and they have no bad effect on your tank. if you don't like them you can kill them, but they are fine.

Hydra eat one celled animals, small crustaceans (daphnia, cyclops, etc.), worms, insects and other tiny animals. They are also reported to eat small fish fry in the aquarium.
If you wish to eradicate them, Fluke-Tabs will do the job.
