Can your water level be too deep for a lungfish? I have recently placed my lungfish in a 150 gallon tank and I have been slowly adding more water just to make sure the tank holds (old tank). I have the water level about eighteen inches deep and my lung is acting like it can not reach to breath. Is this possible or is something else going on? the lung fish is aroung 15 inches

I doubt it, I've kept WAL and MAL in quite deep tanks. The only ones I find that don't like depth are SAL.

I dont think it really matters cuz in the wild they have a variety of depths. I just make sure there is plenty of room for mine to have space to breath at the top of the tank.
