Water level uneven...

So I just noticed that my 55, that's been set up since October, has an uneven water level. When looking at it from either one of the sides, it looks as if the water is slightly higher in the front. I've read this is due to it being so close to the wall and that the carpet is usually thicker there. so should I move the tank an inch or so away from the wall, or just leave it be?

I would move it or shim the front of the stand.

My 55 is has a downward grade about an inch to the left, I know I will be reprimanded, but I just left it. Been set up about a year with no problems. All my other tanks are level though.

if you feel like breaking it down then move it forward... or just leave it....
