nice!

nice vid!
they do look like they're ice skating :D when i added my bichirs to my new tank (well now old tank haha) before i put in substrate, they did this too, sliding across with the head pointed down. wonder if they do this in all bare bottom tank or just unpainted ones or what

They were not sliding as bad before I had the Koralia 4 in there. That thing is pushing over 1200gph. I also have a generic brand powerhead in there pushing 250gph. That's a total of 1450gph and I have not add my gph from my two canisters yet.:D They do this on painted bare bottom as well. My friend has a black bare bottom and it was doing the same.

Awesome video.

Yes, my bichirs will do this once in a while in my black barebottom tank. I see it a couple times a week probably. I have an old Reagant powerhead in it aimed to skim the bottom at all times for debris too, so it could be either or both.
