past few weeks, i've had some ray that acted weird, they suddently have no appettite and would also be not as active as usual.
2 weeks ago in one of my tank, i was suddenly concerned with one of my Bds , she suddenly ignored food and
also was inactive and breathing heavier than usual . i did a water change and after 2 days she was back to normal.

then 3 days ago in another tank one of my p14 also did this , but after a day he was back to normal
then yesterday all 3 of my rays in on of mhy tank did this. today they are all back to norrmal.

what do you guys test for when rays are acting weird?
i usually just test ammonia, and PH.

all those time ammonia is at 0 and so far my Ph is at 7.5

i do water changes 1-2 times per week 30% each time.

not sure if its in the water, food or what is causing them to act weird .

Check all parameters.

what other parameters do you usually check?
also tested nitrite and it was also 0.
not sure what other parameters will cause ray to act weird.
not sure if kh/GH will have this effect on them?

Nitrate can cause issues if not controlled to a low level.

I would double your water changes, even if your nitrates say zero. I run drip\flood systems on all Ray tanks for constant fresh. I have had new Ray's not want to eat off the bat, but never one lost appetite. Knock on wood. Best of luck.
