I have a fully cycled tank.... (was cycled before that in an established tank) been up for a little over 2-3wks... and I have no nitrates..... I dont understand how after so long I can have no nitrates? but if there are no nitrates that means.... I dont need to do a water change?? thanks for any help.

oh... for those 2-3wks I have 2 ray pups in the tank.... eating a ton and pooping a ton. and I use a liquid tets kit.
