water pollution

i have been feeding my plecos cucumber and i always see my tank became polluted the next day. i know that zucchini is more nutritional than cucumber but will it pollutes the water like cucumber?

How much are you using and how long do you leave in the tank? You shouldn't have a problem if you put it in at lights out and take out uneaten food in the morning, I have never had a problem with either veg, but ditch the cucumber for zucchini.

I'd say you are either overfeeding, or leaving the veg in for too long.
