Basically the problem is you have way too small of a tank. Rtcs alone need something around 10'x5' when they are adults...

You need much more filtration, and a much, much larger tank. The fish you have chosen are very messy, and get extremely large.

Messy fish
a tank that is 2small for them

not enough filtration
thats why ur water are like that

80% water change over here would kill the Nitrifying bacteria off. so the murkyness would be from the NH3 etc . what are your levels like?

Smaller 10% changes a day and add something like seachem stability would help. also don't feed them very often , maybe every 3rd day for a wile.

dude stfu i'm asking about the water, not tank size and we are not certainly talking about RTCs

DO YOU REALIZE THAT WATER QUALITY IS AFFECTED BY TANK SIZE AND WHAT'S IN IT??!!!! I'M TRYING TO HELP YOUR SORRY @$$ TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR FISH, THAT WILL PROBABLY BE DEAD SOON ANYWAY!!!!!!

Though you will need a bigger tank. That is not your problem. When was the last time the filters were cleaned. Are you feeding too much? I think it is one of them or a a combination of both.

Is this a new tank setup? How long has it been running?
