Water problems

I tested my tank right after a water change
The nitrate was between safe and caution
Hardness was very hard
Total chlorine was safe
Total Alkalinity was low
And the ph was acidic

Can someone help me and give m ideas how I can get my water back to normal
I tested that after a 15 gallon water change

Posting #s would be better. 'Caution', 'safe', 'low', 'acidic' are very broad or undefined #s.

Posting what "normal" was for the water would be helpful as well. And the tank size would be helpful plus knowing what's in the tank (type and size of fish.)
