I have to come up with a cheap way of moving water from my bathtub to an aquarium for water changes. Just did my first one with a bucket and this isn't going to work. I am thinking of getting a cheap water pump to move the water. I have about 25' to go the aquarium.

Any recommendations? Thank you!!!

Don't know if you have heard of the Python water changer.

This hooks up to a faucet, with it you can drain and fill your tank. Aqueon makes a version as well.
Drain, add declorinator enough for your entire water volume, tank, filters, sumps. Then refill with temp matched water.

What size tank do you have and what percentage are you changing (rough estimate)? Also how often are you doing water changes?

I personally use a small pump for my water changes. It's similar to this one
Pondmaster Magnetic Drive Pump 7, Black, (700 gph)

Jexnell's suggestion is good, a python is a main staple in most aquarists fish room. The only downside to it is that it will waste water to empty the tank so that could be something to take into mind if you don't want to waste water.
If wasting water is a concern for you then you could get a pump, pump the water out, fill a clean trash can with new water, treat it, then pump it into the tank.

I use the python because I like the hose but the siphon attachment won't work for me. All our faucets are "waterfalls".
I use this pump and it is a lifesaver. Pumps with a 50ft hose to sink that is about 25 feet away. Also use it for gravel cleaning.
I hook the python to the hose bib for my washer when I fill the tank.

BTW I place the pump in the kitchen so it pulls the water from the tank that is 25ft away. Works great.

You can get the adapter for the python and a garden hose to fill the tank pretty cheep off amazon or chewy. You just need a faucet to hook it to.

It only wastes water if you empty your water at even or slightly higher than tank level. You must then run water to increase flow. If you run the hose to the toilet, tub or outside (my preferred method), gravity works fine. A pump however, would move it faster.
