Water Snails and Salt Quetsion

I'm hardly ever on this forum and this may have been asked before but I'm a noob on snails.

Does adding salt to a fw tank with snails in it affect the snails like it does like table salt affect land snails???

Not all snails. Pond, ramshorn and malaysian trumpet snails can all take a bit of salinity. They have survived the 1 tablespoon per 5 gallon aquarium salt I have added in the past.

thanks guys, I don't know what the name of the snails are but they are the ones sold at petsmart. they call them blue, black and ivory snails or something like that
