This water snake was wrapped around a cinder block in my canal, looks like a common banded water snake, pretty cool. Sorry for the bad pics but its hard to take a pic of a snake in 3 feet deep of canal water.

When you say snake,you mean snake or eel? just curious.....saw a great eel swimming down river the other day out into the sea, it was huge, what a great site, i mean huge,,hehe...but thanks for sharing that looks smart
