Got a couple tentacled snakes coming in today from Ben Siegel. The problem is that I'm working all day, as I couldn't get the day off for snakes, and I had to ship them when the weather was relatively good here.

Anyway, they're going to be sitting in my friend's apartment near work during the day. I made sure his window will be closed so the apartment will be warm, but is there anything else I should do? They arrive in snake (fabric) bags with moist moss in them. Expect there'll be heat packs too.

Should I leave the box closed entirely? Open it for more air but leave them in the bags? Further moisten them somehow? Was considering maybe dripping some warm water onto them during lunch, although it would eventually cool.

Advice much much appreciated.

I wouldn´t touch the package.
If they are properly packed, a few hours won´t make a difference and if you open it, the heat and humidity losses would be of concern IMO

Yeah, I imagine they'll be well packed. This makes sense. Thanks!
