I'll soon be receiving some wicked looking crays (Cherax Pressi)
They're Jet Black with Orange feelers.

Does anyone have info / links on what the water temp should be for them???
I run my Destructors at 27 ~ 28 celcius. Are they the same as them or colder???
~ Cheers

Wow, where did you manage to find those? I've been hunting for them for a year :(

There a real nice cray, second only to peknyi, temperature similar to destructor will do fine but around 25 is ideal, they are quite flexible
Thanks for that.

I think I spelt the name wrong.......
Pressi or Preissii ???

At the local. I don't know if they're all that rare down here???
Still.......I've only seen them in pet shops in my area twice in the last few years....

Its hard to find rarer members of cherax for example it took me a few years to get peknyi but it's worth the wait

Yea, I'm noticing that. I've found a few sites that get them (and others in stock), but it's only once or twice a year and without guarantees that the arrivals will be alive/healthy/etc. Meh. I'll succeed eventually (I hope lol)!

Yea, it's probably easier for you to find down there, heh. Either way, a nice find. That's a beautiful species of crayfish, you're so lucky. :P
