I have my 405gal tank in the garage and its been getting pretty warm up here laity so I disconnected the heaters yet my water is still hitting up in the high 80's around 87-89 is this getting to hot for my fish or should they
be fine?

I have run cold water in the tank when I do water changes and get it down to 85 but it always seems to make its way bake up. The fish all seem to be fine just hungrier.

The stock:
1x Niger cat
1x Giraffe Cat
2x Irwini Cats
1x Fire Eel
1x Jardini
1x Watermelon Pleco
8x Silver Dollars

They should grow fast and be very hungry all the time. As for hurting them? I'm unsure. I would try setting a fan to blow at the tank. Should drop the temp a few degrees just from evaporation... just like how a swamp cooler works.

Yea the tank is sealed real well so I found a screen to put over one of the tops so that nobody could jump out, I also put a fan on top to blow the top of the water and cracked the other two lids open so help out its slowly going down.

You've done about all you can do with the screens and the fans. Hopefully that will help keep the temps down. I would think that they will be OK, but I would want it to get too much hotter.
