Which brands of water tests are generally accepted to be the best? Are there any I should avoid? Also, I've been told conflicting things about when, and whether, these tests expire or lose accuracy. Please help. I don't want to waste money replacing something that doesn't need replaced or buying the wrong brand.

What about expiration? I've been told to replace tests every year. I always have some left over, but I am more concerned about accuracy.

Look at the lot number the last 4 digits are the date of manufacture. I've heard they are good for a year and I've heard they are good for 3 years.

API liquid is the best. I have a link for expiration, just PM me though. Last time I posted the link the whole thread was deleted.
