yea... we have a fish farm located in south western ontario... we ship out over 2800 pds of trout a week for processing... big operation.... works for me and my feeders :D.... clean as they get... all of our fry are constantly having fresh spring water going through there tanks.... we are pumping like 200 gallons per min through our trout fry.... BIG TIME WATER

Are you cleaning the subatrate, lifting all the decor & cleaning under it? There has to be some uneaten foods rotting somewhere in your tank. I'd up that to at least 50% weekly. I do 75% on all my FW tanks & 90% for my discus.

to keep my nitrates down I do a 120% w/c weekly, just to give you an idea, every 3-4 days I have to change out 60%...keeping your nitrates down is like a math equation, if yours are at 40% and you change half of your water, the new number will be 20. So your residual nitrates are going to kick your butt only doing 15% waterchanges, IMO you would really be better off to do less frequent, larger water changes (ie 50-75% a twice a week) than 15% a day with the fish you have.
