I’ve been treating what I feel like is fin rot in my Flowerhorn aquarium with aquarium salt. His fin has neither healed nor got worse in 10 days I am confused.
nitrates, ammonia, nitrites all 0 when I do a test every other day, but today I let my water sit for like 15 mins and cool before testing and I got some small nitrites readings and higher ph. I did it again, but tested right after getting the water everything is at 0 again..which is accurate?
temperature is 84 degrees, 50% water change every 4 days and solo Flowerhorn with 2 ac110. The rest of his body is perfect and fish eating acting very healthy.
attached is a picture with fin of concern
Thank you!
