What kind of turn over are you guys doing on an overstocked chiclid tank. I am doing a 6 times an hour, and it is not cutting the mustard and I am not even "overstocked" yet.

What filters are you using? Do you have enough media to keep up with the bio-load?

Great looking tank you have there. Won't comment on the filtration as you already have some sound advice. How regularly do you do a water change and what quantity? I run a 20% change on a weekly basis. Depending on how the water looks I might do it at 5 days.:naughty: :woot: :clap :headbang2

20-25% weekly water change w/vacuuming gravel.

I have too many particals floating around. The fish swimming around seem to kick up particals. I need to step up filtration. The current filters are working, but just not enough turnover. Need a few more weeks of skimming "milk money."
