Water turning green..

Hey guys I have 130 gallons freshwater tank with 1 snake head and a rtc in it..I feed them goat heart,live fishes and meat..suddenly the water has turn greenish in colour.. can anyone help me with the cause and precautions

Sounds like high nitrates, ie fertilizer. Too much wastes make for good algae growth. Try not to over feed them. Scoop out any in eaten food when they are done eating and do more water changes.

Start by doing a large water change everyday for a week to drop the levels and test your water regularly for waste.

get a simple 25-40w UV light. replace the bulb once a year. problem solved.

Can you post parameters. If your nitrates are high, waterchanges would be the way to solve the root cause of the problem. If not, you might consider reducing your lightng or a uv light, but make sure your parameters are good first

Tank me lund gussa na band kar sab tik hoga
Ab pani me chik daale ga toh green hi hoga na chodu
Chal bye khayal rak apna
In english: its due to excess amount of food u r feeding
Regular water changes will reduce d colour
N don't worry dey r harmless for fish

Ha an bhosadike..karta hun..yaha se hila ke fekta hun to direct daman tank mein jaa kar girta hai.. gaandu..
