Hi all I was wondering what kind of water do you guys use for your fresh water tanks? Do you use tap water and add conditioner or do you guys use r/o(reverse osmosis) water?

I've always wanted to try a RO/DI system but don't know if I want to throw that kind of money at something I may not use...

Now if it was a saltwater tank, what would you guys use or do? Would you guys buy saltwater from your lps, go buy r/o water and then mix salt, or use tap water then add conditioner and then mix it with salt.

Tap water. I have an R/O system but I don't use it for my tanks because of the reduced minerals.
