Hi, I am used to saltwater and I use reverse osmosis water totop off and do water changes. I was wondering what you freshwater guys use. RO or tap water?

tap water with the usual dechlorinators, pH buffers and such.

RO would be nice but not really necessary unless tap water is unsuitable..(high nitrate, heavy metal or other). Maybe for top-off, but for water changes in a large aquarium(100+g) I think it would take forever.
